Please be advised that Blynx AIM Limited will be carrying out planned maintenance at our Saxon House data centre as detailed below.
Site: Saxon House Data Centre, Cheltenham
Activity: Annual UPS Battery Test – UPS A
Start: 14:00 (BST), Friday 8 May 2026
Maintenance Window: 4 hours (expected completion within 2 hours)
Description of Works:
As part of our routine preventative maintenance programme, we will be performing the annual battery test on UPS A. During this activity the battery redundancy will be temporarily disconnected from the UPS system to allow each battery string to be individually tested and verified.
Customer Impact:
No impact to load is expected. Power feed A will remain online and supported by mains power throughout the test. Power feed B redundancy is fully available and unaffected for the duration of the works. Customers operating dual-powered equipment across A and B feeds will retain full redundancy via Power B.
Risk:
Power on A is not expected to be affected provided mains power remains stable. The 4-hour window has been allocated to provide contingency in the event any issues are identified during testing; works are anticipated to complete within 2 hours.
Action Required:
We recommend customers verify that any single-corded equipment is provisioned via Power B, or that ATS/STS units are confirmed healthy, prior to the start of the maintenance window.

GTT are performing emergency maintenance on their IP platform, requiring a Device Reload (card reboot) in line with vendor recommendation, related to an ongoing incident on their network.
IMPACT TO YOUR SERVICE

- No service interruption is expected.
- Blynx AIM operates additional diverse IP Transit routes; traffic
will continue to flow via the unaffected path(s).
- During the maintenance window, redundancy on the Telehouse path
will be temporarily reduced.
- Full resiliency will be restored automatically once GTT confirm
completion of the work.
