UPDATED 21:45: At Risk Notification – B Feed UPS Fault Rectification Works

Scheduled on 08/04/2025 13:00:00 Status In-Progress Estimated finish 10/04/2025 13:00:00

Update at 13:00 BST 10/04/2025

Engineers discovered that a battery was reading a lower voltage compared to the rest of the system. The affected battery was replaced, and the system was charged for 24 hours. Subsequently, a test was conducted to verify the battery system’s ability to support the UPS. The test was successful, and the circuit was restored, ensuring that all systems are now protected from power interuptions.

We understand that no one was impacted by this maintenance. Thank you for your patience.

Updated at 21:45 BST 08/04/2025

Engineers have identified the component suspected of causing the malfunction in our B power feed. Consequently, the replacement will not be available until tomorrow afternoon.

As a precautionary measure, we are placing the system into bypass mode. This action will have minimal impact to the majority of customers with dual AB power, particularly those out of business hours.

The scheduled work is set for 22:30 BST and is essential for repairing, testing on a load bank, and reintroducing the UPS into the circuit once its functionality is confirmed.

Thank you for your patience during these maintenance works.
